Our school is situated in the parish of Kilbehenny-Anglesboro, a rural area of south Co. Limerick bordering the counties of Cork and Tipperary.

 

Our school community has grown steadily over the past six year and the school currently comprises of 4 mainstream class teachers, 1 support teacher, 3 Special Needs Assistants and 1 part time secretary, with an enrolment of 99 pupils.

Kilbehenny NS endeavours to provide a structured, caring, happy and secure environment where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of all our pupils are identified and addressed. We encourage the children in our care to develop their talents to their full potential and to grow into confident and caring members of the community.

 

We aim to make sure that every child is happy in school, that every child achieves their best and that everyone learns to work as part of a team.
